Client reviews

Every review on this page is written by a real client, published with their permission, and traceable to a real project.

We know that is a low bar to claim and an easy one to fake, so here is what we actually do:

• We ask for reviews on a public platform — Google, Houzz, Checkatrade or Trustpilot — where they cannot be edited by us
• We publish them here in the client's own words, unedited
• We ask permission before using anyone's name, and we credit people the way they ask to be credited
• We do not offer discounts, incentives or anything else in exchange for a review
• We do not remove reviews we dislike

Under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 it is illegal in the UK to publish or commission fake consumer reviews, and the Competition and Markets Authority can enforce against businesses directly. We would rather show you fewer reviews than invent one.

If you want more than reviews

Reviews are one form of evidence and not the strongest. If you are weighing up a significant project, ask us for:

• References you can phone. We will put you in touch with recent clients on comparable projects.
• Approved applications you can look up. Planning decisions are public records. We will give you reference numbers so you can read the officer's report yourself.
• A site visit. Where a client is happy to host one, seeing finished work in person tells you more than any page on a website.
• Our insurance and registration details. ARB registration and PI certificates, on request.
